Shipping Info

We ship with Canada Post. There are no markups for shipping and handling on our end because we are well aware how expensive shipping can get FAST.

If a product qualifies for good old fashioned stamp rates the option will pop up. It shows up aptly as “snail mail”. PLEASE KNOW as much as I LOVE to use this option…. And have shipped over 1500 packages using it…. There is NO TRACKING and NO INSURANCE. This means I have zero updates on when it will arrive and I cannot take responsibility if they decide to toss it around. I WILL mention I have had less than ten damaged and two lost packages using it. It’s a good option but. A risky one.

We do offer TWO pick up locations to skip the whole shipping thing. One is in Rockland, and one is downtown. Once your package is ready to rock, you’ll receive an email letting you know it’s ready at whichever location you chose for pick up the following business day with the hours you can swing by to grab it. If you need to make arrangements outside of our typical pick up hours shoot me an email at hello@craftymotherhood.com. (Or message me….if you’re shopping around here odds are you’re a rockstar friend supporting me and my boys)

You can also email me if you’d like to provide your own shipping label for me to use! I can get you the dimensions of the box, and you can purchase and email me the label. I do have a small business account with Canada post so you receive the small business discount when using the site shipping options but maybe you own a massive corporation and have the best rate! I’m happy to use your label!

I have tried my very best to offer all the possible options to get your packages in your hands as I know shipping costs to be a deterrent for people who want to support small business. All small business owners, specifically in Canada, have such a mountain to climb to overcome shipping rates. As I offer letter mail rates and two pick up locations I don’t think it’s fair to work shipping costs into all my pieces. Many people opt to pick up and it wouldn’t be fair to them. Thank you so much for understanding and one day, maybe, Canada post will listen to the cry of the small guy and provide reasonable rates.
